7th Lecture class



During the class, Dr Ummi was showing some interesting advertisement to us. For me, it was unique to see other country’s types of advertisement though different country has different culture. The Mcd as a famous fast food restaurant in the whole world has its own way to deliver their message. The method of advertisement is one of the strategies in business. The corporate culture is also well established as its company.

                                            

However, I am personally not a lover of Mcd products as we all know the facts that the organization was a big contributor to Israel. Israel is well known as the bad terrorist to the Palestinian people. As a muslim, we must avoid buying in Mcd restaurant as their are our enemy. We could choose other fast food restaurant such as Subway, KFC, and MarryBrown. We could be proud with MarryBrown as they are Malaysian franchise that being success today. 

                                                       
       On the lecture class, we also learned about a business level strategy. There are case study been given to use which is about UMW Holding : sustaining a centennial corporation. It was quite interesting case study as it was one of the successful organization in Malaysia. It has four core businesses ; automotive assembly distribution (OEM), automotive components and lubricants (REM), heavy equipment, and oil and gas drilling. The company is moving towards its centennial year of success. The group CEO of the corporation is a malay guy named Dato' Syed Hisham Syed Wazir.




                                                       









For me, the topic from time to time do fascinating us as there are a lot of new thing we learned. Therefore, we should get the clear picture with all of thing we had learned.
