6th Class

6th week class ~

Monday comes again (-_-)

It was another Monday tutorial class, we are having discussion regarding the case study of “Piping Hot Dogs” The case is about the 1901 Hot Dog, a Malaysian franchise company. The story was amazed me on the successful of Malaysian entrepreneur. The mission and vision of the company is something that we could took and learn. There was nothing wrong to think big and dream high. The thing that matters is how we work for it.

Then, we learn about the “TOWS Analysis”, it is the elaboration from SWOT Analysis. It is an interesting thing to learn as it shows clear objectives of the company’s background. It detailed on the company’s strength, weakness, opportunities, and Threats.

From the TOWS analysis, we could formulate the solution for the company to overcome its weakness. The analysis might as well assist the company to improve their management of the organization. Other than that, there is a blue ocean strategy that could be developed by a company that it unique value differs from other company. The blue ocean is the solution that comes from the combination of the weakness and threats information of a company. It was such a helpful tool for a company to evaluate their performance.

Overall, the method use is variety that makes the business management’s being more effective and productive. That's all for a fun Strategic Management's day of topic.. ^^
