Second Lecture... ~
 
Tadaa... we meet again.. !! =)

                                        
                                                     

For my second entry, I am going to tell about our second lecture of the subject. ^^ We have go through the two important chapter which covered the introduction of this subject. For the first chapter, we learned about the nature of the Strategic Management. The objective of the chapter is to studied how a firm may achieve sustained competitive advantage.The competitive advantage could be understand as anything that is well compared to a rival firms. =)

  

         From my understanding, the strategic management is a process that involved three main part which included strategic formulation, strategic implementation and strategic evaluation.

                                                

The strategic formulation is developing a vision and mission of an organization. It were crucial as the vision and mission help to identify the external opportunity and threats of the firm. Then, the second phase  is strategic implementation that functioning to allocated resources in order to execute the strategies . Lastly, the last important part as after the action stage is the evaluation of the plan finished.                          
           
                                                             



 

                                                               
            One interesting value that fascinated me is the need of the intuition in a person to run the firm. The lecturer told us about the story of the son's owner of Jalen Ketchup's company which do inspired all of us. The story about the father's intuition that his son could succeed their company in the nationwide became reality. The father's dream becomes true as the intuition could lead to a successful.
 
 
          Lastly, in Chapter 2, the lesson is the detail explanation about the vision and mission of the firm. The vision could be define as "how to become " which is the question about the method to achieve the target goals. Meanwhile, the mission is about " what to become" is the first setting goals off a plan. We could also applied the concept of the vision and mission in our daily life. The vision that relevance for a student like me is to get good cumulative grade (CGPA) in every semester. It is important as it related to my mission which is to get my first class degree in Bachelor in Muamalat Administration with honored. Inshaallah... ^^

First Day =)

                                                           

It was bright  and windy on that day. For our first class of the Strategic Management's subject, I think the subject is quite interesting !! In my first impression, I am seeing the subject as another business subject which is full with fact and theory. As we know, sometimes the facts could be bored to the student. But, this subject is totally different from other subject that i have learned before. Then, when an adorable lecturer came to the front introduce herself, I know that the subject would be fun. ^^

       

          Our first activity totally gave me positive thought about this subject. =) The activity is to build the tallest tower by using the paper in a group. The activity seems to be easy task but it do cost us to a creative and critical thinking about the solution. As other group, we try our best to came up with the tallest tower could we built. During the activity, we learned the important value as the first thing to have in every task was the strategic plan. We should focused on the strategy as it is the first step in developing the future step.I think that was the valuable knowledge to us as we could also applied it in our daily life.

 With the plan, we could see our objectives and goals clearly. In the activity, the aim is to built the tallest tower as we can. So, we as a team work together using the source we have to built our tower. As the English idiom had stated " many hands make light work". We decide to divide the job as a few group members working on the tower's base and others built it walls. As the result, we could smile that our group's tower was lasting until the top 4. =)

This is not our group picture, but it remind me to that day.. =)

                               

                               
                      

         The key word we learned on that day was a " strategy" as the main thing in doing the job well !! For me, it was an interesting thing to be learned. Now, what we need in our life is a game plan !! I think that's all for the first entry and inshaallah we meet again with other sweet entry.. =')
